Well, the time has come.. I'm finally upgrading to Windows Vista. I've always said that I would be waiting for some software release that forces me to upgrade. Not particularly because I'm against upgrading, but because I have seen no reason to until now. It's a simple matter of functionality, and the functionality that I required up until now had been met by Windows XP. I anticipated it being one of the DirectX 10 titles coming out late this year that'd push me over the edge, but it turns out I got accepted into a software beta test that requires Vista. More on that later, but I can say I'm very excited. It's going to be a late night of clearing off enough space on my current HD to upgrade. Stay tuned for more info on how it goes.
